Sclerotherapy Can Erase Unsightly Hand Veins

Unsightly hand veins can often reveal your true age - or even make you look older than you are. As the years pass, we lose some of the normal tissue on the back of the hands, and the veins become more visible.

We can achieve excellent results by using special techniques that allow painless injection into the veins. Generally, you will find the veins resolve over a period of several weeks, though occasionally a second treatment may be needed for best results.

While sclerotherapy can erase unsightly hand veins, this is a cosmetic issue.  As with sclerotherapy of leg veins, treatment is not covered by insurance. However, most patients find that the results and the added confidence they produce are well worth the expense.

Learning more doesn't require any investment other than a bit of your time. Any of our nurses, or Dr. Rosenberg or Dr. McNeill, can provide a full evaluation as a courtesy at one of our four offices in Frederick, MD; Bethesda, MD; Leesburg, VA; or Charles Town, WV.

My wife has some intense veins in her hand. She has been complaining about them and wants to get them erased. So I am researching and looking more into to it to see if that is possible. I am glad that I found this article because it looks like there is a chance that we can get rid of them.
